-serves 6-

1/3 cup orange juice
  1 tbs lemon juice
2/3 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp superfine sugar
1 medium red onion, sliced thin
1 ripe avocado, sliced
6 cups mixed greens
2 sweet oranges, peeled and sliced

1) Whisk together first five ingredients
2) Arrange greens, avocado, onion and oranges
   on six plates.
3) Drizzle with dressing and serve.

 

Salads, especially citrusy ones,
need extremely juicy, light white wines.
Dry sparkling wines and
crisp New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs are just the ticket.
